Default Convertable computer program ?s

I know some people who work at a body shop and they told me that the computer in a Convertable has a programing for less power. Is this true? If so can i get a comp from a hard top and put it in without a prob? Thanks

That may have been an issue with speed density mustangs since they do specify a separate part depending on the body style, but the MAF makes no such distinction. I doubt the difference has anything to do with reducing power, though.

Speed Density computers were all the same DA1 code.
