i heard t5 transmissions are kind of weak and cant stand much hp...can anyone tell me about how much they can hold ( at a moderate level) not pushing it to the max...im wanting 350hp at the flywheel, will the tranny be able to hold up? or will i need to go with somethin else? any suggestions would be appreciated

i'm not sure about hp figures, but here is a chart from ford about max torque ratings that the T5 can handle. There were three different types of T5's that were made, each with different max loads it can handle. make sure you know which one you are buying before you spend money. hope this helps

With the power you are looking for you could use a T5z it handles 330 ft.lbs torque. And as long as you aren't dumping your clutch at your peak torque under the curve it hold up fine and is a bit easier to shift than tremecs.
