![]() I have two problems
The best way to describe this problem is you can hear the linkage and TB whistle open and then have a small but noticeable delay and then the car would rev. (some times a lean pop and even a drop in rpm then it would rev.) The motor is also running real choppy, it used to be sooth, running a EFI 351W with an F-cam. Before you could put a bottle on the intake and it wouldn’t move, if you tried that now it would be thrown off in a few seconds, that’s the kid of difference I am looking at. This problem started after I replaced my electronics on my C&L meter, TFI Module and Coil. I put back my stock electronics same problem, put my old coil in same problem, I didn’t try replacing the TFI yet, and no codes. Timing is correct, could it be that I didn’t reset my computer before setting my idle? I am going to try resetting my idle tonight, any one experience this problem or hear of it before? Thanks |

![]() I am going to give the IAB Valve a good cleaning get a new PCV and check for vacuum leaks again.
My PCV was clogged this may be affecting my choppy idle, The RPM thing I think is a combination of a bad TPS and bad idle setting, I used an old tps that I had around my house, I think a new TPS and some dielectric grease along with resetting my idle I think will do the trick. I will keep this updated if I make any progress, I will solve this one way or another, because I want to install the T Trim that’s sitting next to the car. I am not going to put it in with this kind of problem. Any additional input would be appreciated. Thanks |
