times with 65-68 coupe?

Hey,

I am looking at getting a 65-68 coupe to use as a street/strip car with a 302 or 351 and i was wondering if anyone knows what kinda HP and times i would be looking at with this combination of stuff. the mods are:

351w:
Edelbrock Performer 750 cfm Carb
Edelbrock Performer Intake
Edelbrock Performer heads 2.02/1.60
Edelbrock performer cam 204*/214*(@.050) .448"/.472"
Hooker Competition headers w/ 2 1/2" glasspacks
Ignitor II kit w/ Flame-Thrower II Coil

302:
Edelbrock Performer 600 cfm Carb
Edelbrock Performer Intake
PAW Remanafactured 289-302 Early Casting heads 1.94/1.60 with 3 angle valve Job 58cc Chambers
Crane Energizer cam 278*/278* .498"/.498"
Full Roller Valvetrain w/ 1.6 rockers intake, 1.7 rocker exhaust
Hooker Competition headers w/ 2 1/2" Glasspacks
Ignitor II kit w/ Falme-Thrower II coil

The 351w has 10.7:1 compression while the 302 has 10.5:1 compression, both through a c-4 trans with 2500 rpm Stall and 4.11's out back with traction bars. What kinda times do you think a car like this would run? How Streetable? Thank you for any information you can provide

well, 1st off, take the cam from the 302 and put it in the 351... that cam is way small on a 351.. the stock 302 roller cam with 1.7 rockers will have more lift... look for something with around .540 lift and 220-230 duration at .050 lift. With the better heads, you dont really need to spilt the duration as much as with stock heads...

the glasspacks will cost you HP too...
