Question Tire sizing poll - 68 fastback

I'm taking a poll. What tire size do you think is best for a 1968 fastback? I will have factory ride height, less 1 inch in front. I don't have the luxury of working with a tire dealership to try several sizes. I plan to use stock wheels (15x7, 5 lug) . I could go a little wider than stock tires to imply muscle car, but the car is stock. Wouldn't go so wide as to encounter the wheel well lip. Won't change the offset. What do you think of the appearance of classic Mustangs with two sizes of tires (slightly wider tires in back than in front)? Any experience with shorter side wall height (low profile) tires? At this point appearance is key. I've done quite a bit to ensure handling and comfort are already better than good. A specific tire size recommendation and your reason would be most helpful.
