TR-3550 or TKO??? Not sure.
Hey,
Anyone want to help my indecisiveness? If I call someone for support they may try to lead me in the one that makes them the most money. I don't know whether I will need the TKO or not, because I really don't want to spend that kind of money. I don't even know what my estimated HP and TQ will be!!! If you guys want to help me out with that estimate that's fine too. I've got anywhere from 400-540 hp and 415-515 lb/ft of torque, but I don't know. Do I need the TKO? I don't know what this motor is going to do. I think my biggest part of the horsepower equation is I can't figure out my compression. Here's what I've got going on bottom to top...: 1970 Mustang Fastback 351 C DOAE Quench 4V Heads Ported ~ 64.3 CC heads before shaved about .020 351C Block 4.040 bore 3.5 Stroke TRW-Flat top pistons 40 over 2.19/1.71 Valves Mech. Roller lifters Cam 9* adv. .612 gross lift on each side 255 dur. 1.73 Roller Rockers "0" Deck Crane Hi-6 Ignition, MSD Distributor Funnelweb Intake w/ port stuffers Demon 850 cfm carburetor And an occasional 100 shot of No2 Not enough to worry about |
