Default tranny numbers

alright i found a toploader im thinkin about gettin that seems to be in decent shape...but one thing im not sure about is if its truely what he says it is...he says it came out of a 68 stang and the code is C5AR 7006-D W-2 i have a website that identifies toploaders but this specific one wasnt on there...if anyone could help me out to let me know if this really did come out of a mustang and or what motor did it hook up to i would appreciate it
