![]() im putting a tko in my 68 and was wondering would if the tkos shifter would fit in place of the automatics shifter or does a hole need to be cut. and also, does the tko use the same crossmember as the t5

![]() The shifter hole should be very close, you might have to grind it out slightly. The crossmember is specific to tremecs, a T5 c/m will not work.

![]() Most likely you're gonna have to clearance some area at the 5th and Reverse gear side. I've got a tremec t-5 in my '68 coupe and this was the case with me. I also had to bang the trans. tunnel in a couple of places (slight rubbing) to get rid of vibrations. I also lengthed the stock T-5 shifter as it was a little too short (I had to lean forward in the seat to shift).
