Gauge problems
Well, the first minor repair project has been completed (door handles), and now I am moving onto the next problem, the gauges on the car are apparently all dead. The fuel, and oil always max out when the car is running, and the temp and ammeter dont seem to respond at all, staying dead. (low range and in the middle respectivly)
From what I've been reading, the pegging problem can be attributed to a blown gauge regulator. but what about the temp and ammeter? could it be that those 2 senders are out? Or could there be something else wrong here? Thanks a million, J

Replace the regulator first, and see what happens.

Senders are easy and cheap too
If the guage voltage regulator doesn't solve everything, the temp and oil pressure sending units are easy to replace and relatively cheap.
