Default dielectric grease vs white grease

ok the wifes car has gone thrugh 3 ignition moduales.

well today after the 3rd one the dealer say's the whole problem has been that on the first install they used dielectric grease instead of white grease and it caused an over heating problem of the moduale , and as they replaced it the second time they used the same thing.

well i thought they were used in the same way ? what properties does white grase have over dielectric ?

when i replaced my tfi moduale i used dielectric not white grease and havent had a problem in 5 years.

i think the dealer is full of it but im asking you guy's before i call him on it. (electrical is a area i try not to get into .)( i did find a sort going to an injector that i fixed but they say that it wouldnt cause the maduale to blow.

I'm no expert in electrical either, but, as far as I know, that is what dielectric grease is supposed to be used for. I dont know why white grease would be better. If someone can shed some different light on this subject, please do.
