![]() Ok, I just changed out my front brakes memorial day weekend and now they feel mushy to me.
Yes I have drums. My auto-adjusters were working fine when I tested them. Is it maybe just because they are new? It almost feels like they have air in the line, but how is that possible if I didn't mess with the lines at all? I haven't tried bleeding them yet because I didn't have much brake fluid, but I have to change out a wheel cylinder before bleeding them anyway(broken bleeder valve). Any ideas at all?? They still work but the point of grip is much lower to the floor then I'm used to and they feel a little mushy up top. Is my adjusters maybe not working right?? Any help is always appreciated. ------------------ 1966 Baby blue Coupe, 289, Manual 3-speed, Edelbrock 650, Flowmaster 3-chambers, and minor upgrades. Interior work includes custom paneling, custom dash dress-up(I refuse to cut anything out of the original), Rewiring most of the electronics, Porsche 911 seats installed soon, and Stroker kit when I get to Texas. November of 2001 I will go back to Dallas. |
