Valve Covers

When replacing valve covers on a small
block with the black wrinkle finish
ones avaliable from many vendors and
also my Ford dealer, is there any guide
as to which script is acceptable for
which model?
"COBRA Powered by Ford"
"MUSTANG Powered by Ford"
"Powered by Ford"
They will go on a 1966 Mustang coupe,
289, 4V, C4.
Thanks for any advice or info.
Lou.

Its your car...
Go with what you like the best.

Personally, I like the Mustang powered by Ford the best, but the Cobra one seems to be the most popular.

There's no right or wrong when customizing your car (unless you don't like it)

The ONLY acceptable valve covers are the "Motorcraft" covers. Just kidding. I agree with the previous post. Just in case you didn't know, Cobra powered by ford were the optional cobra dress up kit valve covers. some dress up kits (sold by ford?) were just crome. Bottom line, enjoy it whatever you do.

Thanks to those who took time to answer my post. You have made it very easy for me. I"ll choose the one I like and it should not upset anyone.
