basically it is where fluid(gas) can no longer mover because the pressure on both sides is equal. Something like an air bubble which was heated up because of extreme temps, like a fuel line around the header or something close. Or air in a fuel pump, which was heated up. Heat and fuel do not go together.
Keep your fuel lines away from the headers, and maybe use a fuel rail cooler.
