The only one I can tell you not to buy is an Everstart from Wal-Mart. I've bought several (didn't learn my lesson) and the absolute maximum time I've ever got one to last is 2 years.

I know Optima batteries are very high quality, but you'll pay a premium over the Wal-Mart battery.

Put a Motorcraft battery in there. You can buy them on the aftermarket and they're good batteries.

When I said "aftermarket", I meant that you can buy a Motorcraft Battery [Ford] from other then the dealership. Many outside suppliers handle Motorcraft batteries.

I have a Motorcraft Battery in my car, yes.

I also sell Motorcraft batteries at my shop.

I'm sure if you check with a battery distributor you'll find a shop/store that sells Motorcraft.

Take care

Hi Gearhead999

I looked at the Motorcraft and didn't see any that were SEALED. I don't want to check the water line in the battery every month. I live in Vegas and it don't get hot here during the summer months it gets BURNING! ! !

The heat is HELL on batteries here. Maybe I missed it ~ but I didn't see any Motor-crafts that were SEALED on the web.

Do you know if they have 'em. I would think so.

THANK YOU FOR YOU IMPUT.

GOD BLESS

I MET THE NICEST PEOPLE HERE ON THE BOARDS
