Ok here's the plan. A CCM GT-40P crate motor, a T-5, and 8.8 modded to fit. So yes, I will be replacing the whole drivetrain. And yes different wheels will be added.
What size brakes does the six have compared to the V-8. Also how is the stearing different? What parts would I need to convert to 5-lug?
I can pick this car up in running condition for $1,000 bucks, maybe less. Sure V-8's maybe be plentiful in Cali, but here finding one that's not a rust bucket is kind of a challenge.
