Default What are the differences between a 6 and a 8?

I'm looking at getting a 66 coupe with a 200 straight six and a 3 speed manual. What are the differences between a straight six powered car and one packing a V-8. Brakes, suspention, rear-end.....what's different? How easy is it to convert one to V-8 power?
