What do you guys think of this:

A few weeks ago my brother came accross a mint 68 mustang coupe, Original owner... Original paint, about 68,000 miles, 289, automatic. the car is unbelievable. the only flaw it has is where the roof and the quarters come togeather the pain is bubbling a little bit. Under the hood looks like the car has 68k, but the interior is perfect. The car has No rust and was garaged since it was new. Anyhow, we bought it right away, but have no idea what it is worth... any ideas? we are probably going to sell it in a month or so.

With that paint flaw I'd say not much more than say. . . . . . $400 bucks! But, since you seem like a nice guy, I'll be willing to go say. . . $450.00?

I think he wants to buy it cheap!!He He!
We would have to look at the frame but one in nice cond is worth $2500-$3000. less with the rust you said it had.
Keep deducting from there.

There is a place called Berry's motors at 501 N.Collins in Arlington and they will give you an estimate for you to sell at or sell to them.I'd take theirs and bump it up $500.Put it in the auto-trader, whatever works for you.Hope it helps.

I dont know about the area you guys are from ,I live in an area where people are collector looking for deals. advertise it in the mustang classifieds at 5,000 and go from there

thanks for your input.

I am not sure where most of you guys are from but I have to agree on the advertising for $5000. I would even go $5500 because around here (MA) I bet that would go for $3500 to $4500.

out here in phx ariz a vintage (64-69) stang that actually fires up and runs and stops and shifts is worth 5,000. a rolling chassis is about 3,000.
