I'd like an air dam and black spoiler.....

Also, I think a good hood or scoop would look nice....

I'm gonna leave the wheels alone for now. I think it'll look good w/ my Prostars on it

The only hood scoop would be the Shaker. But last time I checked, those were way too much. I did remember awhile back seeing someone produce a less expensive Shaker.

I still like a plain hood. They came both ways so I'd spend the money on the other things first.

Oh, don't worry

First things on the list are heads (ported at least), and some sort of traction unit.......(spool at the least)....

Then worry about the looks and rest of the restoration

I wouldn't run a spool on the road. Makes handling a bit bad and can actually snap a axle in worst case. Id keep in mind a less expensive locker type rear than risk putting it in a ditch. My last "Mustang II 460" had a 4:88 mini spool. I needed a 8 lane to do a U-turn. But it never saw the street.

O-yeah, a black Shelby type roll bar would look super sweet in the summer.

It's a convertible, you need a rollbar already.

a friend of mine made a shaker hood for his 69 from the scoop off a 03 Mach 1. You can get the 03 scoops from Ford for like $130 bucks. Dave has like $200-250 bucks in his whole shaker set up. Plus is the 03 scoop is aluminum.

MustangII,

Theres a difference in a "rollbar" and a "styling bar" or "light bar"

I actually have a light bar in my 2000 Stang....

If I do anything to it though, it'll be a real 4-6 point roll bar

Josh,

Well, I'm gonna get the car running good first, then I'll go off cutting into the hood

BTW, what about the wing?

I didn't ask if there was a difference in Roll Bar, Styling Bar or Light bar. I said you need a Shelby Roll Bar. The padded kind that came on GT500's. They just look too cool and keep road rash off your head.
