Wheel size
 

What is the largest wheel size usable for the first gen mustangs? I am looking long term here, but eventually I plan to convert the car to disc brakes, and was thinking that a set of 97 split-5stars would look really nice on it. Are the (IIRC) 17 wheels to big? Also would the backspacing work?

My car has 17x7 w/ 235/45/17's all around. You can fit 17x8 if you want , mustangs plus sales them w/ the right backspaceing.
