Question where can I get a shaker hood

Where can I get a shaker hood for my 1970 mustang fastback. All I can find are used original one and they a like $1200 bucks. I am looking for a reproduction that is reletivly cheap. where can I get one? Please help!!!

Why don't you purchase a regular hood and just cut the hole for the shaker?

Sorry about that, as far as a shaker assembly, you will need to try hitting the swap meets. There is also a website just for 69-70 mustangs that has some classifieds and don't forget ebay.

wow i didn't know it cost that much for a shaker i am glade i have mine all though i did take the vacum out so it is open at all times. What all co. have u checked with i usally go with national parts depo for my repo parts good prices and fast service.

69 428 cobra jet:bored .030, forged aluminum pistons, C & A rings, Engle cam, Edelbrock intake, 750 cmf carb, Hooker headers, March pullies, all ignition componets MSD, Holley 7psi fuel pump, Art Carr C-6, TCI torque converter, 4:30 gears, H pipe, subframe connectors, lift bars.

I aso have a stock 96 GT.

Call this number and tell them to mail you a catalog...Mustangs Unlimited-Early models. They will ask a few questions but that is it. I got it from a resto/parts shop that specializes in mustangs. I am getting a mach 1 hood scoop for $150. Reasonable pricing. Check it out.
