Post Where to start?

I have (unfortunately) inherited what I've been told is a 1967 1/2 Mustang Conv. with the 289 and what I believe is a 3 spd. auto. While not new to the automotive scene (I autoX VWs) I am new to older Mustangs. Can anyone point me in the right direction to start learning about my car? Books, websites, and magazine recommendations would all be appreciated. The car was partially restored 20 yrs. ago and only driven approx. 6K miles since. Paint still looks terrific, car runs well, but interior has faded and was never really restored as well as the exterior and mechanicals.

Additionally, I know the one thing my benefactor would have loved more than anything else was to replace the cut up console. I've searched all the usual places including paper catalogs and web sites, yet no one seems to have the whole piece including plasic lens, etc. Any help?

Lastly, is a 1967 1/2 more properly considered a 67 or 68 in terms of options available, paint schemes, etc?
