Default Who's lookin' for a 4spd trans?

Hey all, I remember I was talking to someone that was looking for a 4spd top-loader trans and I said I would let them know if I ever came across one, not sure if that person or anyone else is looking for one but there is one for sale on ebay. Looks pretty good to me too.

Hope this helps the person out. It's out of a 1969 Mustang Mach I.

Ohh... sorry Merc, I noticed it pretty late aswell. I thought someone else was looking for one too. I will keep my searching for one and if I come across one I'll let ya know. Why are they so rare though? Were most of the Mustangs automatic? or what? Everyone that finds out I have a 4spd in my car wants to buy it off me but it ain't going no where. =)

Take Care,
§am.

Not sure if I should say this, but I'm pretty sure I have a 4-speed out of a 65-66 mustang. It's a top loader, but I'm not sure if I want to sell it. I was thinking of finding a rolling body for my extra 289 and the extra trans. I look at a pic in the mustnags unlimited cag. and compared it to what I have. Looks to be the real thing. It has two long arms, and one sort one farther back.

And boy is that thing heavy.
