Wide tires up front 69 Mach 1

How wide of tires can I put up front on 14X6 Aluminum wheels? I was wondering if 235's will rub on turns or bumps. What size do you have on your 69's?

My 69 coupe is lowered 2" all the way around.
I have 225/60/14 on the front now, used to have 245/60/14, no rubbing with either. This is with 14x7 wheels. I drive pretty carefully however.
