Default 1965 window problem

My passenger side, rear window, is such that if you try to roll it down, the whole window slides down into the door. Then, I removed the panels and I'm not sure what I need to fix this problem. I can manually put the window back into place but it does not fix any problem.
I can't actually roll the window up or down.

There are little plastic rollers on the window mechanism that go into the tracks. They are held on by a little metal clip. When they break, the window falls in. They are cheap, go to www.texasmustang.com or some other Mustang parts store. While you are at it, find out how many you need, replace them all, your windows will love you for it. They are one size fits all, I think it takes 8, but I can't remember, probably less than $20. total

Grease them while you're at it.

on my 68 i got the new rollers and clips in and greased it and tested it about 5 times almost got it back together rolled it down and the clip, i guess, wasn't squeezed enough so it popped off and i had to fix it. just in case u'r clips arent tight enough i just wanted to warn u what mine were like and what they did to save u time and aggravation lol. its great having windows that actually roll up and down easy now tho hehe.

You might want to change the felts at the same time. It is a bit easier with the window out and properly installed it can help with the drag on the window while going up and down.
