For those of you who have been using the new chat room you may be aware of the "disappearing message" bug that has been in the system. The bug would sometimes cause your messages when sent not to display in the message window on your own browser... although, everyone else in the room would receive it. Still, rather frustrating. After some work debugging the programming code I *believe* I found why this was occurring on occasion and have found a way to fix it. Hopefully with the changes I have now made the bug will now be corrected.
Regardless, just like any newly programmed system... bugs or conditions can sometimes crop up not foreseen during development. Therefore, I'm hoping all of you can make it tonight for the next scheduled chat at 9 PM. The best test is to get a bunch of members in there to continue putting it to the test and root all the bugs out. Hope to see everyone there!
