woo hoo! new toy for my stang!
nothing big, but I finally managed to talk the wife into letting me get the MSD for my 71. Im happy. The only thing is that she wouldnt let me get the 6AL, but just the 6A. Guess I diddnt need the rev limiter any way.
Now If I can just figure out how the heck I hook it into my car with a pertronix distributer insert doohickey.... Mike

yup its in and it works. 4 bolts, 6 wires and I was set. took all of 30 mins as I had to play bit with wire routing to make it look a bit cleaner... I still got wires all over the ******* place though.
as to the rest of the MSD stuff... Wires and blaster 2 are coming next friday. She just wont know about them. Our little secret. Now with the 6A in it starts a lot quicker and will darn near hold an idle cold. I used to have to Floor it to start and then keep reving it to keep it running while cold. Now I just pump it twice and crank it and she fires right up. Mike

When I put in my pertronix, that fixed all my problems. To start it, it was three pumps when cold, then to get it to start after it was warm, just crank the key, always fired right up.
