need alot more info about engine

154 psi dont mean nothing.
You can have anywhere from 8.5-11.0 to compression!!!! if not more or less.
Cam shaft, intake track, hot, cold, proper way and inproper way can really change the results if not a whole bunch of other reasons.
We need piston size, stroke, head gasket thickness, etc, etc

What type of rear end is it? 9 or 8 inch, posi or not? Are you going to run slicks or not? You will need traction bars. subframe connectors. Who built your engine ?
Be patient and read a lot of articles in the mustang magazines and you will be surprised at all the info you can gather. Are you in a mustang club, cause the people in the clubs are a wealth of info.
Good Luck,,,,,It took me 7 years to complete mine just to get it on the road and i'm still never quite done with it!

i dont really care about quarter mile times right now just hp and tq numbers. but anyway its a open 8. used to be posi but i broke the gears from running it to hard.

the block is stock with 4 valve reliefs on the pistons.
block bored 30 over and stock head gasket. dont know the thickness. i think your other questions is in my first post.

thanks
