Question 86 Ford Mustang LX/GT ???

I have just purchased an 86 Ford Mustang Convertible and ran the vin number through Car Fax. It has come up with a 86 Ford Mustang LX/GT. When I buy parts for this do I buy for LX or GT? It has 3.8L V6, auto transmission and 4 lug rear end.

Being that the car has a six cylinder, it would be the LX model. GT's came with the 5.0 V8.

Congrats on your purchase by the way.
