Really??? The appeal isn't scheduled to be heard until Saturday, I wonder what happened?
That's great news, but doesn't make much sense. I'll do some digging. Take care, ~Chris

I can honestly say i hope that Mark doesn't win it. He's one of the cockiest people that i've ever met. I hope Tony wins it..just because of all the controversy he's been through.

Hey Marty, I think you misunderstood the news. They decided yesterday to appeal, and it will be heard on Saturday.
Tony Stewart used to race Sprint cars here at Ventura, but he was always "too cool" for anyone else. Too stuck-up. Mark Martin was a perfect gentleman when I worked for Elliott in '98. He's very strict about everything, but he was always willing to help us out, too. Since Bill's out of it, I'm pulling for Martin. Take care, ~Chris

I like Stuart and Martin, but I would rather Martin win because he isn't getting any younger.
It's hard for me to root for anyone with any amount of passion since # 3 is gone. And of course I can't stand Gordon.

I think you have it backwards dude. Tony is the one with the temper problem and was made to take anger management classes after a punched a reporter. Yeah, that's real tough huh? I have never heard Martin point the finger at anyone else if he didn't do well in the race. He always says something like "There's alaway next week" or "We just didn't have a good day today" I've actually met the guy...have you? I've never seen Martin wreck someone on pit road after the race was over either like Tony did to Gordon last year or so. Maybe it would be better if Stewart did win the championship, atleast that way we wouldn't have to listen to his whinning and crying about how it was someones else's fault!! Tony's the type of guy who would probably take a lead pipe to Mark's knees just before the race or wreck him during the race so he can win the championship.

Like I said, I like them both, but I would give a slight edge to Martin because he isn't going to get as many more cracks at a championships as Stuart is. Mark Martin has definitely never come off cocky in the times I have seen him on TV and I have never heard that before.

I met him at Martinsville when the drivers had a signing thing saturday night. I went up to get his autograph and he never even said hello, how are you..or anything like the other drivers did. He never even looked at me..just grabbed my picture and signed it..never said thank you or anything.

I just want martin to win for jack roush. He doesn't have a championship yet and he really deserves it. Jack has always raced fords and i respect him for that. I am sure matt kensth will win one for him one year but jack has been so close so many times with martin hopefully he gets out of second place this time
