Question Convertible Top ? (Glass Curtain)

Unfortunately when I was replacing one of rams to the convertible top, I broke the rear glass curtain. I just got a new one and was wondering if anyone knows how to replace it. I'm new to the convertible top thing.

Default Heat seal

To do it right, you have to unzip the old one and remove it with a sharp blade, but be very careful.
Then, you have to have a heating gun to seal the new curtain to the frame.
That might be worth taking to a pro to have them do it, they should only charge a few bucks for that. Obviously, you want that done right.

I actually have the whole rear curtain. The glass is already sealed into the material. I noticed that there are numerous wholes on the bottom of the material, just below the glass. Is it screwed into the rear of the car somewhere?

Default repair manual...

I will look in the repair manual and get back to you.
If it is a complete curtain, you might be able to attach it with no probs.
Lemme look it up and get back to you later...

Well, I figured how to get the old curtain out and of course it is different from the new one. It will still work though. Now I just need to figure out how to install the new zipper. The old one is completely different from the new one supplied with curtian. How does zipper mount into the top?

Well, I have given up. I had to take part of the canopy apart to replace the glass curtain. When doing this, I discovered that I had to remove the old zipper/material that was stapled down to the frame. I was thinking no biggie, that I would just go out and buy a staple gun and some really small staples. I went everywhere and I couldn't find any staple guns that uses that small of staple. I think I purchased 3 staple guns that were close, but didn't work. So rather then deal with it anymore, I set up an appointment with a upholster place to have them do it. Hopefully they won't charge me an arm and a leg. It's already disassembled for them. What luck!!
