Thumbs up Results from this past weekend at the track!!

Sorry for the long delay about posting this, but here's the results i promised you guys. First run was a motor run. 5.13 123 mph. Second run was a nitrous run. Ran on one stage just to get an idea about what it was going to do. When i launch car hooks harder than it ever has, and rocketed to a (Ok are you ready for this) 4.52 138mph!!! I couldn't believe it. So last run of the day was on both stages!!! Got another good launch and it did good until it engaged the second stage. then it just got sideways, so i throttled it to a 5.19 120mph pass. Overall it was a good night, blew away a HEAVILY built integra.lol I think i shook the fart pipe off that thing when it came screaming past him. hehe I got it on video and will try to post it!!! As soon as i figure out how to. Later guys.

Eric

Etherial, devine, pure, holy CRAP!!

That's insane. What does that put you in the quarter....low 7's at 170's??

I can't even imagine going down the track at that sort of pace. Heck, the motor alone looks to be good for 8's in the 150's....SHEESH!! What does that feel like?? I can only imagine....

what does it feel like?? Well, it goes by so fast that you really don't have time to think what it feels like. Only thing you feel is the actual car takin off, which feels like two dump trucks rearending you at 50mph, and your lookin at the sky.lol It takes your breath away pretty much the whole run. Right now the car should run mid to high 7's on one stage. I'm going to run some southern 10.5w races this year!!

I went 4.88 in a zero to 60 mph blast...does that count?

Seriously, you've got one BEAST on your hands! What type of suspension are you running? 4 link? And I can only imagine what kind of 1/4 mile ETs and MPHs your going to be running this summer once your local 1/4 mile track opens up.

Congrats on the ETs!

Hey 302LXEric, the suspension is all competition engineering stuff. I have a 3-link rearend, with a 5.13 gears and a spool. It has Moser 35 spline axles. The tranny is a Liberty clutchless 5 speed. hope this helps.

This is the fastest N/A mustang I have ever heard of.

I really don't mean to be rude, but how is that possible?

8.00 all motor? Whats your race weight?

You usually see 347's+ w/ 20-25+ psi of boost running these kinda times.

Gimme some more info on your car.

Skyler

Hey Skyman, well you ask how the car runs so quick on motor? Well put 924hp in a 2,550lb car. that's how!! Billy Glidden built this motor the same as he's got in his car now. But my car is a little lighter than his car. Plus i have a good chassis setup to allow the car to hook.

RadicalGT

You should get in touch with Kevin Price (one of the moderators here). I think he has a 417 cu. in. Yates headed, high comp, Bennett built motor that sounds similar to yours. I think during some test runs he went 9.xx N/A.

Kevin are you around here?

Take it easy,
E

Skyman, the motor is running around 15:1 now. I leave the line at 4500 and shift at 6400. i could take it much tighter but the motor is new and i don't want to try revving it harder. The nitrous setup is a two stage fogger, 250 first shot, 175 the second.
