351 Cleveland
What's the hp/torque in a 351 C? Say in a 69 Mach 1? Is there some where on the web where I can find out all the hp/torque ratings for all the motors from the 289 up to the 429 and the model years/body styles they came in? Unless someone on here wants to tell me all that . How about the different trannies and hp/torque capacities of them? And how about the rear ends......etc. lol. I'm doing some research into the classic stangs for my classic stang build up/restoration. Wanting to do a fast back. Not sure what year. Under 1970 though most likely.

351C's were not produced in '69 Mustangs. Yeah, yeah, there might have been like 4 put in as an exception at the factory, but good luck finding one of those.
I think FoMoCo.com is a really good site for finding all kinds of stuff. |

That's pretty funny I was looking threw my old posts and this was one of my first discusions on this board. Wondering if my engine was a 351C. =)
Here is some info I found on the engines in 1969 1969 Mustang Engines The 351 c.i. V-8 4V Carburetor C.R. 10.7:1 Horsepower 290@4800 Torque 385@3200 Ohh man I love looking at those stats. I want to take my car to get dyno'd in the spring. I want to know what's been done up on my engine so that'll give me an idea how much it's been worked on. Don't let my mom see these stats. I get the weekly complain of me driving it. lol She always asked my dad if it's fast. lol

Thanks for the help. That fomoco link got me to another link which I was able to get the information I was needing. Found out all the motors and specs for each year. Didn't realize the stangs didnt' have the Cleveland untill early 70s. I'm sure I'll be around with a bunch more questions.
