Post Best lower control arms for drag car?

I posted this in the Blue Oval Lounge but no luck. I have heard alot of good things about these "HP mega-bite jrs". They are essentially a lift bar bit was wondering if you guys had any suggestions.

'93 lx notch 4 banger (drive it to work currently), Using the 306, 8.8 posi, 4.10's, summit rear cover, elec. fan, cowl hood, wieand stealth intake, holley 650 d.p.carb., built c-4, e-303, full autometer guages, msd box, mallory unilite dist, and coil, roll cage, summit seat, subs, 15x10's in the back with slicks, skinnies up front, all in use for 1988 Hatch Drag Car. Hope to start running next year. Hoping for 7.20's after all is done with small motor.

I've run the Jrs for a few years now and like them alot. They have two settings on them that allow you to control the hit to the tires. I also really like their mounting brackets at the axle. The design really helps prevent axle rotation and puts an end to the tire hop of the factory design. With the Jrs, you can ditch the quad shock...they're no longer needed. I've got a writeup on my website showing their installation.

Most tuners i know say go with jr's they seem to be the best for the money.Stay away from weld in type they seem to like destroying touqe boxes.Mine are made like megabites and they work great

Hey dirty, What kind do you have? Are they cheaper or higher than jr's? If they price is better but performance is close I would be willing to try them anyway.

The reason the South Side style lower control arms have a tendency to crack torque boxes is because of the solid bushings, not because they are a weld-in style. The solid bushings are made to be used on the drag strip, in a straight line, and not for evryday street use. The bushings have a tendency to wear out as well as crack torque when they are used everyday on the street. Go with the Mega Bite Jr's.
