Class Question??

I know that you guys might not be able to answer this but I told my friend I'd ask you anyways. What class can a 1993 Ford Ranger (standard cab) with a 351W and a 150 shot of juice race in??
I don't care which sanction (FFW,NMRA, etc..)
Oh yeah it'll run about 12.14s in the quatre.

If you're looking for a heads-up type class, you can run in FFW's Top Truck class. It is an indexed start, pro-tree class reserved for Ford trucks. If you're just after bracket racing, you could enter FFW's Quick Ford or Fast Ford classes.

Jump over to the Fun Ford site and look at the class rules for Top Truck.

Yeah I checked it out, but it doesn't tell me any of the rules or guidelines.

You probibly want to pick up a copy of the NHRA 2000 rule book. This gives you the spicifics on what the truck has to have to run certian ET's,or anticipated ET's. Example 9.99 or lower you need certified chassis, etc, etc. Usually if you meet NHRA guidlines you will most likley meet any local track or santioning body rules and or guidlines.

At there website they post updates to this rule book too.

Hope this helps.
