Dan McClain are you going to Norwalk? Is your car going to be ready? I remeber that you were doing a Windsor? Is that right, how's the car coming?

Yes, I will be at Norwalk! Unfortunately, not with my new engine to race.

You're correct, I've been building a new blown 377 stroker for the Death Machine (which will be covered in detail on the site in an upcoming project car article). I have the entire bottom end put together and on the stand. And, that's just were it's been for 2+ months now! It's a '73 block and I'm doing a hydraulic roller conversion on it. I already have a custom grind cam motion bumpstick in it. Unfortunately, I have been waiting all this time for the trick Crane roller conversion lifters (Part #36532-16) which are on intergalactic backorder. So, you see I'm stuck.

As soon as I get the lifters, all I have to do is put the top end on and bolt on the accessories. Then, drop it in the car. I had hope, originally, to debut the beastie at Norwalk. Errr! Man, it's always something.
