good place to get heads

I will be buying some heads real soon now. I am having trouble deciding between the victor jr's or the canfeilds. The add's that Panhandle Performance has in the mustang mags are tempting. They list the flow #'s and prices on the add. Has anyone ever delt or have any info on them that would be helpfull. I have herd good things about Benett Racing, but it is hard to choose with all the options out there.

there alot of good places to get head... back of a car, in the shower, etc....oh! you mean cylinder heads huh?

Dangerous Dave 01-18-2001 09:33 AM

lol...riiiiiight... Both places are good and flow numbers for your heads are definitly a good thing to get your hands on-especially when choosing a cam. Not sure about Panhandle but Bennett Racing offers to custom grind cams and build custom engines for you so it may help to go with a company that can offer that kind of experience and that unlimited amount of services. They can tell you what has worked and what hasn't worked with those heads. But I really don't know TOO much about Panhandle so they may be the same or not.

I agree with Dangerous Dave, I also went with Bennett when selecting heads, cam & intake. They set me up with a custom grind that worked well with the other parts. They can help you make the right selection, based on how much money you want to spend and what it is you want to do with the car. They have proven combos and know what they can get out of them. Great guys to work with too....
