Default 2001 gt and 2002 gt

is there any difference between the 2001 gt mustang and the 2002. i got a 2002 and i wanted to get a catback from mac but the kit ranges years 1998-01. could i get this kit for my 02 or do i have to wait till kits are made

Oh wait, I forgot. Mac just hasn't updated their catalouge yet.

whats the differnece between them??

so a mac 3in catback is made like if i call and ask they would have it?

and do you know where you can get a 3in off road long tube header h pipe at??

Default 2.5in.

3" exhaust is too big for your '02GT. Don't do it! Unless you are pushing like 500+ horsepower...there is really no need to go bigger than a 2.5in. exhaust system. You will actually lose some low end torque if you go with the gigantic 3".

yea, dont go with 3"...unless you wanna do 2.5" and 3" tips...trust me, 2.5" can get loud enough, esp. if yu do an x-pipe...and most catelogues just arent updated, like deuce said...the 01 and 02 are the same except the year...there are probably little tiny things they changed, but nothing big...most 99 and 00 stuff fits too...there are some things that fit the 99 and not the 02 though...you just gotta ask about each thing...
