Carb Intake Manifolds.
I'm thinking of replacing my Offenhauser 360 deg. with something a little more common, mine was cast in 1985 and I'm thinking I could probably get more out of something newer. My mods are in my signature and keep in mind my compression is 10.25:1.

that motor would respond well to a torker intake. but if you prefer a dual plane intake go with a performer rpm. nothing less. while youre at it get a 650 dp holley and full length headers. you will be happier with them and make more power.

I was actually thinking about getting the torker, it was between that, the Weiand Stealth (8020), and the RPM Air-Gap.
I'm finding it hard to find a used DP that hasn't been messed with so I'm gonna stick with the Carter until I can afford a 650 Demon carb, I figure might as well buy something that has the shortcomings of the holley already addressed. ------------------ GT-40 heads (ported, polished, + milled), B303 cam, 1.7rr's, JE pistons, Offy intake, Carter AFB 625cfm carb, Flowtech 1 5/8" shortys, Flowtech X-pipe, MAC Flowpath exhaust, MAC pulleys, 373's, subframes, Eibachs+Tokicos, B+M ripper, FMS Clutch, Zoom Quadrant+cable, 17" CSA Ultra rims, 235/45ZR17 Yokohama AVS S4's, MSD 6A ignition+coil, FMS 9mm wires, Carbed, Naturally Aspirated, and Nasty! |

I've got a Weiand Stealth manifold. I don't have a basis for comparison, but I'm very pleased with it. It's got great mid-upper power for a dual plane.
