Talking 12sec ? Its really too easy!!!

Wow! I race my car this weekend. My old 289 iron heads brings the Capri into the 12 sec range!!!I can't believe it. It was too easy...
The only problem i've got with those heads is pinging noise at more than 33 degrees at 3000RPM
I think i loose HP at 33deg.Is that right??
