Nitrous vs. SC and TC in NMRA DR

An interesting question was posed. In NMRA Drag Radial, the nitrous cars have to be 200 lbs heavier than last year. Even with this, the nitrous cars are running multiple stages, and can launch easier, and then hit the big red button and are beatin the pants off of the SC and TC cars. The blown cars are limited as to what charger they can run, and are at the limits of them. They are runnin like 153 mph's, while the N20 cars are running like 157. (the 157 was chris little, the 153 is an average).l anyone follow this class, and have an opinion on the topic?

Maybe they should allow boost controllers for the t/c cars so they can be set up like the nitrous cars, which, like you stated, leave the line with a small amount of spray & then progressively add more.

Or perhaps they should ban progressive nitrous systems, so that the s/c cars have a better chance too. (& make the weights even across the board)

I don't know why the nitrous cars are having better traps speeds than the rest. Perhaps they are spraying a huge amount after the 1/8 mile.
