Default drag radial and weld wheel size?

What would be the largest size brf drag radial I could go with on a 94'gt with stock suspension and ride height. I also have know idea what backspacing I will need for weld draglights. Would 325/50/15 be to big. What do guys usally go with. Thanks for the help. Scott

I run a 95 gt with welds and 275/50/15 nittos.. rims are 15 x 9 with 5.5 inches of backspacing and fit well with no rubbing anywhere.. HOWEVER it appears to be the max width that will work with 2.5 inch tailpipes.. It is close but never touches.. without tailpipes probably could go a bit bigger...

Yeah, the widest Drag radial from BFG was the 275 that fit on my 15X7.5 draglites, without rubbing the exhaust. I had to use spacers too.

would it be possible to run 325/50/15 bfg's on 15x9 draglites with no tailpipes and with the quad shocks flipped?

yes, that should work except for the quad shocks, you will have to lose them most likely with that width.
