Grebeck goes 6.77 @ 208 mph

Steve Grebeck in the Halprin & Grebeck Racing turbo Mustang ran a 6.77 @ 208 mph pass in qualifying for the Maple Grove NMRA race
#2 Don Walsh Jr 7.14 @ 187.83
#3 Bill Glidden 7.15 @ 191.89

That's CRAZY fast! I can see dipping under the old 6.97 of Mangrum, but a 6.77 just completely blows it away. The 208 is unreal too. I bet it'll be a long while before anybody comes close to those numbers again unless they can find some of the same killer air.

That's totally insane!!

Hey Jeff how'd you do this weekend? I ended up leaving after the 1st round of VA eliminations on sunday. Are all the results posted anywhere yet?

The results aren't posted yet on FunFord, but I'm sure Dan will get them up as soon as FFW sends them to him.

I made it to the semifinals on Sunday before slipping on the transbrake button and getting the big ole red eye. But the car was hookin' and scootin' this weekend, all the way to a best ever 11.462@117+.

Gotta love that Lentech!

Red lighting is always the worst.

The air was good this weekend. I managed to finally run a 13, on the brakes at that, without manually shifting the aod on sunday. Too bad I'd dialed in at 14.16 http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif

I'd have to differ with you on that one, and I think the vast majority of their customers would agree. They've got some of the best, top-notch customer service attitudes of anyone that I've ever dealt with in this racing game. Your experience may be different, but its definitely atypical from 99.9% of the folks that have dealt with them.

Superior product and excellent customer/tech support IMHO.

BS, IMHO

But glad there is someone that doesn't feel they got screwed. Far from the norm.

Re Lentech - out of everyone that I know that uses a Lentech AOD (which is alot of people!) only one hasn't been satisfied with their after sales support.

This one person's problem was probably that he didn't have his cable (from throttle to tranny) adjusted correctly & he didn't want to admit it.
