We're headed south sometime today. The plan is to drive until it gets warm, then look for a track to test on. Barring any major problems, we'll be in Bradenton for the NMRA season opener next weekend. You guys should start following the NMRA more, the more you know about it, the more exciting it gets. Check out updates over at the NMRA site next weekend. Be sure to root for Craig Baldwin and Robin Lawrence in the Real Street class! :D

If you plan on testing in Fla. be advised that Gainesville is closed till after Gatornationals,this weekend in Orlando is Fun Ford ,you may be able to test at Bradenton this week or shoot over to West palm Bch. to Moroso park,but thats it for 1/4 mile tracks this time of year. Just some info.

Uh, I dont have a digital camera. I dont know how to take pictures. I am not interested in posting pictures. I dont have a scanner. My car ran out of gas. Yeah, I'll be posting pics as soon as I get them developed! Aww man, they were ruined in a fire, at my house. Yeah, thats it, I had a fire at my house and it destroyed my pictures, but not my PC. I couldnt find a cab. My cell phone quit working. Oh man, I picked up this chick at the track and she stole my camera. :D :D

Seriously, I just picked up a new 64 meg card for my camera. I plan on taking a few.

Thanks for the info, Jack. We were thinking about going to Gainesville too. The weather says rain in Florida so I think we are going to test at a 1/8 mile track in Chattanoonga. Whats the weather like, anyway?

It's raining and looks like it will rain all weekend in North Fla. I think your best shot will be Bradenton this weekend in Fla. anyway,the rain has cleared down there and is all up here now,figures since it's the first weekend of NHRA points season at our local track here in Jax.........Damn. You may want to try Commerce ( Atalanta) speedway,they may be open,check the NHRA website and look for member tracks,good luck bud.

I started down to Fla this morning, instead of last night, because they were calling for rain. I rained like hell today. I stopped to get gas in Ga and when I got back on I95 I passed a bad accident. Suburban that I had passed earlier was on its side off the side of the road, its trailer was thrown past the truck. I remember a dog with its head hanging out the side of that suburban, when I passed it.. I hope everyone(dog included) survived the accident:(

Anyhow, we may be going to the FFW tomorrow. Hard to decide, they are calling for rain again. If we don't do that we are gonna go look at some bikes.

Anyone make it to FFW today? Did they run? If I don't go it will be the first year I missed it in awhile:(
