Default Pro 5.0 Fire Suppression

I have been very busy lately and just came to ask a quick question. I'm almost afraid to post this after reading some of the other "topics of discussion". I heard a rumor that FFW was going to require fire bottles in Pro 5.0 this year. If this is true, is there a certain type of spec for the equipment? Example: 5 lbs. vs. 10lbs., push vs pull, mounting location, etc. I don't have a current FFW rule book, but do have the NHRA. My car meets the NHRA rules to the letter--lots of grease and grime on that poor little book--but I don't have all the specifics for Pro 5.0. I'll just be happy to qualify and not crash! Been doing alot of wall dancing the last year or so. Thanks.

Because we race at both NHRA and IHRA tracks, we must abide by rules for both organizations. IHRA states that any car running 8.49 or quicker must be equipped with a "fire system with one nozzle on the driver and one nozzle on the engine". We think that this is a good safety feature (particularly with nitrous) and require it on all PRO 5.0 cars. The bottle size is not specified in the IHRA rule book. These systems are available through the Summit catalog for under $300.
