Interesting around the 12.90s range is what I'm seeing a lot of. I've seen that done by two of my friends like I said in the above post. Both of these cars are stock motored yet severly lightened GT's coming out at 5000 on slicks.
My 13.30s pass was doing the same on a set of Hoosier Quick Times, I spun hard in first and second though. Just cut a 1.83 60'. Now according to other cars (my friends) that are cutting those times they're cutting high 1.6 low 1.7 60's.
I'm planning on doing a little weight reduction, relocating power steering, putting my flaming river rack in and adding an electric water pump drive and going for 12.80s or 12.90s.
I'm pretty sure I can hit the 12.90s if I can actually make the car hook. I've also added lakewood 90/10s and 50/50s on the back along with 4 Cylinder springs since I made that pass last year.
I can do some simple weight reduction...loose A/C and PS setup along with the inner bumpers and the weights that go on the rearend. I think I might be able to pull off some 1.6-1.7s and maybe get it down there where I want it.
