Hey Jeff, been a while
With 11.0s I don't guess thats still trophy stock. Reguardless thats fast. Happy for all of you, on the team. My question tonite is this. I have 4.30s, an L 60 Micky T. 2800lbs an E cam cobra ported E7s. Before now I was running 12.17 @ 112. What tire and gear combo does it take to run deep 11s with that 12mph. This time around I want all the ET that goes with the mph.

That ET is pretty well matched with the MPH. For a stick car, your 4.30's and E/T Drags is a pretty good combination. You'll really have to judge the gearing by what rpm you're crossing through the traps, and where your peak HP occurs. I've always been told that its best to shoot for about 400-500rpm above peak power through the traps. When I first busted into the elevens, I was trapping at about 114+ MPH. To get deep into the elevens you're looking at 117 or more for an N/A combination. You'll have to find HP to get the MPH, gearing alone isn't going to do it. Look for about 325 at the wheels to get solidly into the 11's, 340 to get to 11.5's and 360+ to get into the 11.2's. And that's assuming that you're getting it all down the track as efficiently as possible.
Good luck.
