Question 1996 Mustang GT 4.6l

Would appreciate advise on removing the 6catalytic convertors on my 1996 mustang GT, would this hurt the car in any way or would I have problems with the check engine light coming on??

You'll more than likely need the MIL eliminator kit to fool the computer into thinking that last set of cats is still in place. Its a pretty common thing for the 96 & up cars. Do a search in the mod motor forum for MIL eliminators and see what comes up.
