Re: Need Help
Though you can run everything from a go-kart to a motorhome downtrack, your 2.3l is going to be pretty limited and quite slow in comparison to most cars you'll line up against. There's nothing wrong with this, but it may wind up being a little disappointing for you.
The 2.3l is really limited in terms of aftermarket speed parts so you may want to consider replacing that 2.3l with a crate 302. Besides a few pin-out changes, it's pretty much a drop-in replacement. The 302 will at least get you started out in the 15-second range as opposed to 18-19 seconds with the 2.3l.

Re: Need Help
depedning on how much money you have, i would sell the 2.3 and use that money and a little more to buy a 5.0 already done up. you can get them pretty cheap and will be a lot faster as is. IMO. good luck

Re: Need Help
If your dead stuck on the 4 banger, go turbo. Then call Racer Walsh in Florida. A friend of mine has a 150CID 4 cyl in a Shelby Charger running 10.50's!!! Those 4 bangers will SCREAM, but bring your checkbook! 5.0 conversion is where the smart money is.
