289 heads keep them or loose them??????
66 289 motor out of a galaxey 500,
should i get these heads or let them go????. I was told these heads with some work done to them they would = up to a GT -40 HEAD. IS THIS TRUE??????. LO. ------------------ |

well, if you want ALOT of compression... yeah, but it would take alot of work to get them to flow like a GT-40 head..seats cut for bigger valves..alot of port work.. I have a set of 66 heads that were done before there WERE GT-40 heads... would trade them in a heartbeat..( no pun ) for a set of GT-40's
