Lightbulb Richard Petty's 1969 NASCAR Ford Torino

Noted NASCAR restorer Kim Haynes has finished Mike Hallenbeck's 1969 NASCAR Torino driven to victory at Riverside by Richard Petty. The only item missing is the Holman & Moody data plate, believed to still be in the possession of the Southern California man who purchased the car from Petty Enterprises shortly after the race. Darrell Waltrip purchased the car to be used for parts in the restoration of his 1971 Mercury Cyclone but, spared it destruction after learning of it's history. Mike has reason to believe that the owner was either a member or close friend of Joe Rutman's family.

If you have any information about this car please contact Mike Hallenbeck (mjhallenbeck@hotmail.com).
